What This Is
The Trust Observatory publishes security intelligence bulletins on cybersecurity incidents, cryptocurrency security failures, and infrastructure attacks. Each bulletin documents what happened, who was affected, and what the WarmBadge Intelligence Fabric scored the involved domains at the time of reporting.
The score is not editorial judgment. It is the output of a deterministic, governed methodology that evaluates domain trust across six terminals: Identity, Behavioral, Historical, Network Graph, Reputation, and Infrastructure. The Observatory does not adjust scores based on the severity of an incident or the prominence of a company. The engine scores what it scores.
Why The Score Matters
Most security publications report what happened. The Trust Observatory reports what the trust layer was already signaling before it happened.
Coldcard's domain scored 36 before the exploit that drained more than $100 million. The signals were there: T5_NO_CORPUS_HITS, T6_CORROBORATED_MODERATE, infrastructure gaps. The score did not predict the attack. But it documented a trust profile that was consistent with the outcome.
That is what The Trust Observatory exists to document. Not prediction. Not blame. Evidence that trust infrastructure signals are measurable, reproducible, and meaningful — before events confirm them.
What The Engine Checks
Every domain in every bulletin is evaluated across six trust terminals. The composite score runs from zero to one hundred. A domain scoring above 85 has strong trust infrastructure. A domain scoring below 50 has gaps that carry real risk, regardless of the company's size or reputation.
The methodology is versioned and governed. The Constitution that governs scoring behavior is published. Scores are reproducible. When a flag appears on a score, it means something specific — not a general caution but a named signal with a defined cause.
What This Is Not
The Trust Observatory is not a threat intelligence feed, a vulnerability database, or a news wire. It does not publish every security incident. It publishes incidents where the WarmBadge score adds context that standard security reporting does not provide.
The Observatory does not accept advertising, sponsored content, or payments from the companies it covers. Scores are not adjusted for commercial relationships. A company with a low score gets a low score in the bulletin. A company with a high score gets that too.
